I hear people saying we don't need this warI say there's some things worth fighting forWhat about our freedom and this piece of ground? We didn't get to keep 'em by backing down They say we don't realize the mess we're getting in Before you start preaching Let me ask you this my friend
Have you forgotten how it felt that day
To see your homeland under fire
And her people blown away?
Have you forgotten when those towers fell?
We had neighbors still inside
Going through a living hell
And you say we shouldn't worry 'bout Bin Laden
Have you forgotten?
They took all the footage off my T.V. Said it's too disturbing for you and me It'll just breed anger that's what the experts say If it was up to me I'd show it every day Some say this country's just out looking for a fight After 9/11 man I'd have to say that's right

I've been there with the soldiers Who've gone away to war And you can bet they remember Just what they're fighting for
I've been there with the soldiers Who've gone away to war And you can bet they remember Just what they're fighting for
Have you forgotten all the people killed?
Some went down like heroes in that Pennsylvania field
Have you forgotten about our Pentagon?
All the loved ones that we lost
And those left to carry on
Don't you tell me not to worry about Bin Laden
Have you forgotten?
Have you forgotten? Have you forgotten?
Have you forgotten? Have you forgotten?
I've watched videos, I'm watching the History channel right now, and I'm about to cry listening to the stories about the survivors' stories and how depressing it is for the people in the building who were killed. Mrs. Hamilton was also telling us about how the people who were on the plane that crashed put up a fight when they learned that the terrorists were going to hit the white house. They were saying "don't do it! we will do what ever we can to stop you!" and things like that, but they all knew they were going to die. so they all called their families and said good-bye.
I cannot believe that these people would do anything to do this. I just saw on the history channel this woman who lived in NY and her husband worked in the World Trade Center. She was awaiting his call to tell her that she was ok and then she got ahold of him and all he said was "I'm gonna be ok, just stay calm, and if this doesn't end well, just know that you made my life amazing" and then hung up. She called her husbands friend and was talking to him, and then she said, "i'm just so scared," and then he was about to say something, then on the TV, the buliding collapsed. all he could her was her anguishing, blood-curdling cry, because her husband was directing people to saftey, and his buliding just had collapsed.
I cannot possibly imagine how devastating that is, I did not have anyone I knew in New York at the time, nor do I know anyone who was. But just listening to these stories makes me so sad to think about how much pain everyone who had loved ones in those bulidings and lost loved ones.
I have to come to a close, because I can't write more. It's too much for my emotion to handle. Maybe when I gain control I will write more, but as of now, just think about these stories, the song, all these things.
May God Bless all our lives with peace and may He bless our country
