as you can see, the only place i'm actually going to end up going is GORGEOUS LAKE POWELL! I'm so excited! but on thursday-saturday i'm going to hobble creek canyon for girls camp. seriously! i just got back from girls camp! gosh! yeah well i think my house is the most boring thing there is on this planet. oh well, i think i'm gonna live.

GREEN IS THE NEW BLACK

this, "green is the new black/pink/blue" thing, is kinda starting to bug me. almost every single girl i see walk by me somewhere (i.e. the mall, movies, walkin down the street with their friends) is wearing a shirt that says "love our planet" or "go green" or "trees are for hugging" and this severely bugs me. YES i do love our planet and trees ARE for hugging (bwahahahahahahahah no i'm not a scary tree hugger) but when i see "preppy" girls walking around in that it makes me think that they are just wearing it because its "in" at the moment. i bet they don't even care about the planet, but the fact that its a cute shirt. i guess what i'm tryin to say...i don't know. but am i the only one that it bugs? please give your opinion on this

Oakcrest!!!

I learned a couple things during the past week up at Oakcrest Girls Camp (LDS girls camp for 7th-8th graders). I learned:

• to bring LOTS and LOTS of food with you!
• making friends isn't hard!
• bugspray is a blessing
• to be thankful for good food, a bed, bug-free homes, and yummy water
• praying is more than just asking for help
• latrines are gross
• "well water" tastes good
• i love my family (more than i thought!)
• bad habits are really hard to break
• being in a cuss/crude word-free environment has taught me to break my bad habit of saying "freakin" and "crap" and "stupid" and all that

I loved oakcrest! It was so fun and I can't wait to go next year! And it was fun meeting Hailey C. She's cool! well yeah!

7 Things...

Well...based off of Miley Cyrus's new song...7 things...here are 7 things that I hate about Miley Cyrus:

1. She changed her name. And now I've heard that she's changing it back.

2. In this song...she is trying to mix country and punk rock...and those 2 styles don't mix well.

3. She gets all dolled up like shes 20! While I was watching the CMA she sang with her dad. She looked like a peacock with alot of showing. They make her look so old but she really isn't that much older than me!

4. When she sings, her voice sounds the same as when she is talking.
5. She sings to low for a girl. Well, at least in my opinion--and you can't argue with my opinion.
6. Her Vanity Fair pictures--which were awful.
7. She took those pictures. Gosh people! She's only 15-16!!!


So, these are the 7 things I hate about her. Hope you found any point to this post.

Good Use for an Empty Plastic Bag

Have you ever gotten like really way annoyed by plastic bags? I have. They just sit around and get no other use. They bug me! So I came up with a new use for them!

You know how I'm into like cleaning up the Earth right now? Well. If I keep an empty Wal-Mart bag or something in the car, I can pick up trash wherever I go and have somewhere to put it when its full!

You should start this too...

Lately...

Lately, my emotions have been all mixed up. Partly because of the guy problem. Partly because I haven't been able to hang out with my friends. Partly because of fights. But mostly because of my brother.

He asked for my help to solve a problem with one of his friends, so I tried as best I could and sent this person an email (pretending to be him) saying that he was sorry and that he'd been acting like a jerk and that he would turn over a new leaf and be a better person. Then I told him that he had to do what the email said or else it wouldn't be what he said he would be. So he said he would. And then I sent him an email giving him advice if he ever got mad and pretty much told him how much I care about him and that he can come to me if he needs to.
Then he was emailing two people and started acting kind of arrogant and jerk-ish. So I told him that that wasn't nice and he needed to change that. (He asked me to be his "problem-helper") But then he got all angry with me and called me a (direct quote) "big really really really literally really fat brat."
So I sent him another email saying that I had really seriously told him that I really cared about him and all he had done is call me a big fat brat and that I didn't really appreciate that. Then I said that I hope all I said to him had knocked some sense into his "thick head" (didn't really mean it) but then he totally took it like i was dissing him and started yelling at me. And I mean...YELLING. So then I got all angry because my efforts had been in vain and that my brother is a mean boy.

Sometimes...he makes me so mad.

If you have anything to say that would lift my spirits, that would be greatly appreciated.

umm...

umm....so....well....i think that *reginald is going to 'break up' with me really soon. he IS going to high school...but i really really really really like him....so i'm kinda sad......uh....yea....if he's readin this...just know....i still like you.....

Ok, I saw this movie yesterday! It is the cutest/funniest/greatest disney/pixar movie I think I've ever seen! Well, I like all movies like that but I really REALLY like this one!

It has a very good message! During the movie, the Captain was talking to the little plant that EVE had (given by Wall-E) and then one of the leaves came off. It was meaningful to me because right there, in my popcorn covered seat, I realized that the earth is becoming (slowly but surely) like the Earth in the movie. Then, the captain said something to the saying, "don't worry little plant! all you need is someone to take care of..." and then he paused and continued, looking at the pictures that EVE had taken of the earth,

"all earth needs is someone to take care of it."

The earth is becoming polluted with smog, garbage, smoke, fire, and lots of other things. But when the captain said that line, it hit me. All the earth needs to be the sanctuary that it is capable of being, is everyone to take care of it. So, next time you see garbage on the ground, just pick it up and put it in the garbage can. Next time you see some people doing damage to something, tell them to stop. Together, We CAN make a difference in this world! So lets get off our lazy butts and make a difference! Instead of sitting and watching some person on the t.v, go outside and jump on the tramp! Instead of moping around saying "i wanna go swimming!" call up some friends, make a plan, and go swimming! WE ARE THE FUTURE AND WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
