5th grade math problem

Kay i know this goes against my last post (see below) but i want to see if you guys can solve this:

This is a 5th grade math problem. If you can open the spreadsheet, you'll see the list of people who have gotten the correct number.

This is not a trick question. This is a real math problem so don't say that a bus has no legs.

There are 7 girls in a bus.

Each girl has 7 backpacks.

In each backpack, there are 7 big cats.

For every big cat there are 7 little cats.

Question: How many legs are there in the bus?

Our World...

Everyone--i've been thinking lately and well...OUR WORLD/NATION IS GOING DOWN THE TUBES! i've been thinking ALOT about this and here is my reasoning:

• the #1 cause of death in the US (right now) is LUNG CANCER. caused from SMOKING
• the #2 cause of death in the US right now is HEART DISEASE. caused from OBESITY.
• the cause of obesity is MACDONALDS and ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFETS.
• people nowadays actually ALLOW drugs/smoking when it kills you!
• Oil companies are causing POLLUTION in our nation and it is burning a hole in the ozone layer and that's causing SKIN CANCER and GREENHOUSE GASSES.
• our government is falling apart in this election, with HC we will die and with BO we will die...
• Salt lake is becoming one of the nastiest places alive
• in mexico, you are allowed to drink if you are 13!!!
• there are now shows called "are you smarter than a fifth grader" and "moment of truth" where they figure out how stupid and lying people in american are
• teenagers SLUFF school to go do GRAFITTI and DRUGS and SMOKE

These are my reasons why the world is falling apart, and yes ive done my reasearch. Also...we should all look into MAGNETIC energy for the solution for the war in Iraq...

Social Leadership Ball

ON MAY 17, about a week ago...lol...WAS THE SOCIAL LEADERSHIP BALL!!! It was a BLAST! I wasn't too happy about going but when I actually got there, I WAS PARTYING IT UP! [= even if my love wasn't there...lol


Well we did have some food first...it wasn't too great...actually kinda gross...yea well there was this weird squash soup that tasted like a ground up gingerbread house. nasty! yea then there was some lemon sorbet that was pretty good! it was like that stuff at Tuachan Theatre in St. George. it was really good! then we had some pork ( i think it was pork) and potatoes and green beans. ew green beans make me gag. anyway...then we had dessert that was...could it be?!?!?

It was DA BOMB!

yea well then we did some dance things. at APA, they teach yoou like real dances like the waltz, foxtrot, chacha, salsa(a little bit), box step and stuff. yea well they had us do some competitions and I danced with the SBP, Joe (haha!) and we got to the top 12!!! We were throwin all this CRAZY stuff and doin all these cool turns and stuff. but we didn't win. ]= lots of people came up to me after and said me and joe should have won. it was pretty fun anyway! then i danceed with this kid named Sam and we totally dominated the floor! lol

well yea it was waaaaaaaaaay fun! can't wait till next year!!!

News Update

So--yea well me and "BOB" are going out now! Turns out...he totally likes me too! ahhhh! but school's almost over and hes going to high school ]=. then I can't see him everyday. aww man!

well yea umm that girl still hates me and im not too fond of her right now. nuff said

umm....oh! Im getting braces on monday! ugh! I'm so not excited!

and last but not least, yea actually least, the seventh and eighth grade "ball" is tomorrow night and im not really looking forward to it. partly because my love won't be there and partly because we have to try everything there. yea. i think i have a curse! every time we have social leadership--that's what its called at my stupid school--im NEVER hungry! like not the least bit! and even if i hadn't eaten like all day! its so weird! and i feel REEEEEEALLY sick if i eat when im not hungry! and i don't really want to barf all over my gorgeous dress! ugh! well yea here's a pic of it: cute huh?

Oh! my bob news corner! lol it was hilarious! and cute! and funny! well me and rach were walking over to talk to him and he was like fake fighting with this other kid and so we walked up behind him and waited for him to notice we were there. rach kicked his backpack and then he turned around because he didn't know who it was(don't get me wrong--it was funny to watch) and then HAHA he was like "hu, OH" and he was like laughing and then his expression totally changed and he went over to lean on the fence and acted totally cool. it was HILARIOUS! me and rach couldn't stop laughing! hes so cute! and we've been emailing for a while now and im totally twitterpated. Happy Mother's Day!

Hey all! It's mommy's day! Just wanted to say a couple of things about my mom since she is actually really sick (pregnant) and in the hospital getting IV's and medicine in those little tube thingys...

1. My mom is really VERY strong! like emotionally, spiritually, and phsyically! My mom has a very strong testimony in the Gosple. A couple years ago--i think--my dad was in the bishopric and every morning my mom had to get all of us kids ready for church all by herself! She managed...somehow! I don't know if i could do that!

2. My mom is really funny! She tells hilarious jokes and does the funniest things!

3. My mom LOOOOOOVES me! She really truly cares about what I do and what happens to us kids. Sometimes she does things or doesn't let me do things and i don't get why in the moment--but later, i understand why she does it!

4. My mom is really supportive! She loves watching me sing and dance, watch my brothers play soccer, flag football and loves to see us progress in our education. She always helps me with my homework when I have NO CLUE what im doing!

5. My mom is an AWESOME PAWSOME swimmer! I love to swim and so does she! That's one of the many things i have in common with my mommy. She is also my swimming coach and she pushes me to the point where i don't think i can do it but she tells me i can and i can! I love her!

6. My mom is AMAZINGLY good lookin! all my friends always say "oh my gosh haylee! your mom is so skinny and pretty!" and it makes me feel good to know my mom is amazingly pretty! even tho I already knew that! I love havin' a glamorous mommy!

7. She's got great taste in everything! She knows what clothes are in and what movies are good and all that jazz! SWEETICLES!


Mom--I know your having a tough night mom, but i just want you to know i REALLY LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Story of my day

so today a couple of things happened. nothing really seriously amazing like yesterday--more embarassing!!!!!

SAM YOUR SUCH A STUPID HEAD!!!!!!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU CALLED HIM WALKING OUT FROM THE ASSEMBLY!!!!!!!!!!!!! DUH! LOL
sam and me were walking back from the gym and i saw 'bob' walking with his friend...uhh...'jim' so i was all

Ok so at school, you know that guy I like that I have no chance with? The older one-not the restricted one? Well, I was standing at my friends locker and...umm lets call him...Bob...walked up and said "see ya" so I turned around and he was WAVING and TOTALLY CHECKING ME OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I met this guy while I was in Albuquerque and he has a motto he lives by every day. He said listen carefully and live by these 4 rules: Drink, Steal, Swear, & Lie. I was shaking my head 'no', but he then told me to listen while he explained his four rules. So here they are: 1.'Drink' from the 'everlasting cup' every day. 2.'Steal' a moment to help someone that is in worse shape than you are. 3.'Swear' that you will be a better person today than yesterday. 4.And last, but not least, when you 'lie' down at night thank God you live in America and have freedom. I am not as good as I should be, I am not as good as I could be but THANK GOD I am better than I used to be !
